Newman Golf Course Clubhouse
The Friends of Newman have long sought a new and improved clubhouse design for the City of Ithaca Municipal Golf Course to replace the 1930’s era shack. As part of the early design studies performed for the City Harbor project, STREAM developed a concept plan for the clubhouse integrating the traditional golf pro shop with a marina function to create a blended clubhouse to serve not just the golfers and boaters but the greater Ithaca community. The new location would create the opportunity to build an enhanced practice facility along with new tees for the 1st and 5th holes and a new and improved green complex for the 9th hole.
